A player called Appropriate_Bit2021 has made a website where you can practice FFXIV raids at your own pace.
Raids in FFXIV are something you’re probably going to be spending a lot of time doing. They can often have specific objectives you need to meet. And as well as that you need to be on your game so no one else struggles. But thanks to Appropriate_Bit2021, you can practice FFXIV raids with a bit less pressure. The tool is called RaidSim, and it lets you practice raid mechanics with up to 8 players online.
Approriate_Bit2021 details the tool in a Reddit post saying, “Multiple useful features have been added such as the ability to pause at any time and discuss, or automatically pause on a death.” The site has now officially launched its 1.0. And apparently during the beta phase, “40,000 duties have been played by over 15,000 players.”
The tool is sure to prove useful to those who want to practice FFXIV raids without worrying about messing up. Playing online with strangers can be a daunting task, especially in a game like FFXIV. Raids can have a huge number of players, and if just one person isn’t pulling their weight it can be all over.
The only way you can practice in game is by doing the raid itself. So RaidSim is likely to help more anxious FFXIV players, and help them have more fun and feel less worried about making mistakes.
The upcoming FFXIV expansion, Endwalker, was recently delayed in a Letter from the Producer live stream.
