You Can Play Marvel’s Avengers For Free Later This Week

Later this week, you can play Marvel’s Avengers for free. The news was announced last week on social media.

I admit, Marvel’s Avengers received a lot of hate when it was released, some of it justified, so perhaps not so much. However, in my opinion, from what I have played of the game it’s quite fun.

Play Marvel's Avengers at no cost during the All-Access Weekend from July 29 – August 1 on PS4, PS5, Steam, and Stadia!

The base game along with post-launch content will be available, including all 8 Heroes. Time to jump into the Quinjet!

So, if you have been on the fence as to whether to give the game a chance or not, soon will be the perfect opportunity, and it won’t cost you a penny.

When is the free-to-play weekend?

From July 29^th to August 1^st, Marvel’s Avengers will have a free-to-play weekend for PlayStation, PC (via Steam), and Google Stadia. The free weekend will kick off at 5pm UK time/9am PT/12pm ET and will end at the same time on August 1^st.

What will you gain access to over the free weekend?

According to the official Marvel’s Avengers website, you will pretty much get access to everything that the game has to offer. Such as the single player campaign starring the charming Kamala Khan. The two post-launch content Operation missions starring Kate Bishop, and Hawkeye. As well as all other multiplayer modes, and more.

Additionally, you will also get to play the Family Reunion Omega Level Threat content, which launches on July 27^th.

Will my progress carry over?

Yes, your progress will carry over should you decide to buy the game once the free weekend comes to an end.

Wait, there is more!

Over the duration of the free weekend, players will be able to earn a whopping 4x XP! So, you will be leveling up your favourite Marvel heroes in no time.

Why isn’t Xbox included in the free weekend?

Crystal Dynamics is working with Microsoft to bring the free trial to Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in the “coming months.”

In August, the expansion “War for Wakanda” will be released for free via an update, and will star Christopher Judge, aka Kratos as T’Challa.
