Youtuber Creates Adapter To Play PlayStation 5 With One Hand

A very talented YouTuber has created a PlayStation 5 adapter that allows you to play games with just one hand. Incredible!

The YouTuber in question is Akaki Kuumeri, and the ingenious snap-on adapter attaches to the left analogue stick and essentially manoeuvres by leaning the controller in the desired direction. There’s even an attachment to access the d-pad functions.

Accessibility for all gamers is vastly important and it is easy for us to take for granted being able to play video games with the use of both hands. Unfortunately, that’s not always possible for some. However, inventions such as this adapter from Akaki Kuumeri is a huge step in the right direction.

The one-handed DualSense adapter was created using a 3D printer. I think it’s fair to say that Kuumeri could easily make some money on his fantastic design. However, instead of deciding to make money, Kuumeri has uploaded his design so that others can recreate it. Kudos Mr Kuumeri.

With Microsoft already having the award-winning Adaptive Controller, it will be interesting to see if Sony comes up with its own version one day in the near future. Hopefully, Sony will make that happen this year.
