The incredibly absorbing and award-nominated RPG, Path of Exile, is one of the best PC games you can play right now. If you’re not a PC player then your chance to give it a go is nearly here, as a PlayStation release date for the title has finally been confirmed!
Grinding Gear Games has announced Path of Exile comes out March 26 on PlayStation 4, and honestly, it’s about time.
GameByte’s Ollie Green called the PC version “the world’s best action RPG game,” citing the variation of gameplay, the complex player builds and the hardcore modes as just a few of the many reasons why this is a title worth playing.
The official Twitter account for Path of Exile confirmed: “We are excited to announce that Path of Exile and our latest expansion, Synthesis, will be coming to PlayStation 4 on March 26th PDT. Tell your friends! In the meantime, we’re so excited to be bringing Path of Exile to our already-growing PlayStation community!”

On Steam, the game currently sits at an incredibly impressive 76 thousand votes of “Very Positive,” and boasts that it’s “created by hardcore gamers… with a focus on visceral action combat, powerful items and deep character customization.”
Best of all, the Steam descriptions adds: “Path of Exile is completely free and will never be pay-to-win.”
Hopefully the same will stay true for the PlayStation 4 version.
Will you be downloading Path of Exile on March 26?
That’s excellent! I’m excited to finally try it out!
