Close your wallets, because Amazon Prime is giving away 30 games for free, with big name titles like Mass Effect: Legendary Edition included.
What’s your favourite price tag? Personally ours is free, because capitalism is a hellscape and we wish we didn’t have to pay for anything.
Luckily, starting June 21, we won’t have to, at least for 30 video games that Amazon Prime is giving away for free.
Starting June 21 next week all the way through to July 13, you’ll be able to claim 25 indie and retro games to keep forever. These include some classics like Metal Slug 2, and The King of Fighters 2000. As well as indie games like Rain World and Serial cleaner.
Then on Prime Day itself, July 12-13, you’ll be able to get some pretty big names. This includes Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, Need for Speed Heat, and Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. Even if these aren’t games you feel like playing at the moment, you might as well redeem them just so they’re in your library.
It’s unlikely that these games will be available for console though. Typically past giveaways have been for the PC version of the games. And the EA-published titles, of which there are numerous, will probably be through Origin Codes.
You’ll be able to claim these games through the Prime Gaming site next week.
