Bayonetta 3 Creator Wants You To Bug Nintendo To Release On Other Platforms

The creator of Bayonetta 3 has urged fans to plead with Nintendo if they want the highly anticipated game to release on other platforms.

After Bayonetta 3 was first teased at E3 2017, what followed was four years of silence. To the point that some fans were concerned that the game might have been cancelled. Thankfully, last week we were treated to the first-ever gameplay for Bayonetta 3.

Like Bayonetta 2, which was a Nintendo exclusive for the Wii U and Switch, Bayonetta 3 will also follow suit. Despite this, fans hope that Bayonetta 3 might release on other platforms one day. However unlikely that might be.

Following the four years of silence, Bayonetta 3 executive producer Hideki Kamiya revealed his relief after finally being allowed to show off the game to fans.

We’ve kept you waiting for a very long time, but I’m very happy that we’ve finally been able to bring you a new trailer,” said Kamiya in a blog post.

Furthermore, responding to fans on Twitter with calls of bringing Bayonetta 3 to other platforms, Kamiya replied: “Bayo 3, like Bayo 2, is being developed with funding from Nintendo,” wrote the executive director (translated by Google).

We are ‘development only’ and all product decisions are with Nintendo. So, for example, if you have a request such as ‘put it out on another platform,’ please contact Nintendo.

Could it ever happen?

Personally, I would love to play Bayonetta 3 on Xbox or PlayStation. However, I would prefer Bayonetta 2 to become multi-format before that happens. But you never know.
