Bloodborne Is Coming Back Later This Year In Comic Book Form

Bloodborne is back this May, unfortunately not as a new game or port (come on Sony), but in the form of a new comic book.

While we did just get some new Bloodborne content with the recent PS1 demake, Sony has unfortunately abandoned us in most other ways. As much as there are cries for a PC port, no news on that front is expected any time soon.

But maybe in the meantime a free Bloodborne comic might help? Titan Comics has recently revealed the cover art for a new Bloodborne comic, for an issue that will be free this coming Free Comic Books Day in May.

The official description of the comic reads: “Enter the city of Yharnam through the eyes of its citizens, when new hunters take to the streets to fight against the cruel and unusual epidemic that has gripped the city. In the black of night, families and faith will be tested…”

All in all, it sounds like your standard Bloodborne affair. Eldritch horrors, hunters hunting, an epidemic. Also sounds pretty relatable for the current state of the world.

The comic is acting as the first issue of a new Bloodborne comic series. This also isn’t the first time the FromSoftware game has been adapted into comic form. A variety of comics from writer Ales Kot and artist Piotr Kowalski have previously been released. These focused on different stories in Yharnam, such as Bloodborne: The Healing Thirst, which was more of a detective story than anything else.
