It appears as though the next addition to the Call of Duty franchise a.k.a Call of Duty 2020 may have leaked on the Microsoft Store.
The storefront is currently showing a new game entitled simply “The Red Door,” a game which is listed as being published by Activision. The details are scarce, but the upcoming title is listed as a shooter which is approximately 81.65 GB in size, and comes complete with a product image and description.
The description reads as follows: “There is more than one truth. If you go looking for answers, be ready to question everything and accept that nothing will ever be the same. The Red Door awaits, do you dare step through it?”

The same codename, The Red Door, was also discovered on the PSN database where it was tentatively confirmed to be an Alpha for Call of Duty 2020, based on the contents of the package. There were some differences between that finding and this, though, as the original claimed the file size was 68.1 GB.
It’s not all too clear whether or not the new Microsoft listing truly is for Call of Duty 2020, which is believed to be a game focused on the Cold War era, but the signs are looking likely!

CoD 2020 has yet to be officially announced by Activision, but we’ve already seen an (alleged) snippet of gameplay from the unreleased title, along with leaks about the maps, weapons, Killstreaks and more.
Broken down, the various leaks claims that the following weapons in CoD 2020 will include: 1911 Pistol, M16, Colt Revolver, AR_7_4 and the Daewoo K2. Check out the full list of leaks right here.

Hopefully the new Microsoft store listing means the team at Activision is gearing up for a reveal. Considering CoD games usually launch in the final few months of the year, it’s seeming likely that an announcement could be happening any day now.
Keep your eyes peeled and your fingers crossed!
