Call Of Duty: Warzone Players Are Hearing Wolves In Verdansk

It’s not all too clear what’s happening in Verdansk at the moment, as Call of Duty: Warzone players are reporting the sound of wolves is infiltrating their matches.

Social media has been flooded by players all demanding to know just what the howling is – and what it might mean for the future of the free-to-play Battle Royale.

As you can see (and hear) in the clip below, it definitely does sound like wolves are hiding in the map somewhere. Could this be a teaser for what’s to come when the game’s fourth Season kicks off next month?

One user speculated that the wolves could signify a supernatural event is on the cards, suggesting we might be seeing a zombie infiltration in the future.

They tweeted: “in Warzone currently you can hear wolfs howling across the map after the latest update maybe a massive zombie boss event type of thing?”

Another said: “I still want answers on why you can hear howling/dogs/wolves or whatever they are in #Warzone at the Prison!”

As expected, Activision and Infinity Ward are keeping quiet on the matter, but expect an update sooner rather than later. If you’ve yet to hear the wolves (or wild dogs, maybe?) for yourself, head on over to the Prison area of Verdansk to try your luck.

In related news, known Call of Duty leaker (with a proven track record) TheGamingRevolution has taken to YouTube to debunk the theory of a new map coming in Season 4, though he claims a Cold War-era map is on the cards in the coming months.

In the video, which you can watch below, TGR shuts down theories that Urzikstan will take focus away from Verdansk, and says that recently leaked Reddit footage isn’t from Warzone at all, but is instead from Modern Warfare’s Special Ops mode.
