Quantic Dream’s Detroit: Become Human is the latest game to get the Twitch community treatment. In case you’re not familiar with the Twitch Plays phenomenon, it began in 2014, when the social experiment/Twitch channel TwitchPlaysPokemon attempted to complete Pokemon Red, only using commands from viewers in the chat. Now it looks like Detroit: Become Human is following suit.

Quantic Dream has just revealed its brand-new Twitch channel [via Kotaku], which will be hosting a stream with cast members from both Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human, in honour of the games’ second and tenth anniversaries.
As part of the celebration, QD will also be unveiling Detroit: Community Play, a Twitch extension which will allow players to decide the in-game choices during a Let’s Play of Detroit: Become Human.
Sounds pretty cool!
The introductory stream begins at 19:00 BST on May 25, and you can get involved on the official Twitch channel right here.
Seeing the anniversary celebrations taking place hopefully means we’re in for some announcements regarding Detroit.
Earlier this year, QD top dog David Cage took to Twitter to tease a potential announcement about the title, with many fans wondering if DLC is on the cards.
“Ok, I’m late… but I wanted to say HAPPY NEW YEAR!,” he tweeted at the time.
“I wish you the best for 2020. 2019 has been an amazing year for the studio. 2020 should be even more exciting! We have a lot of surprises to come for our fans, so stay tuned! And in 2020 more than ever: be deviant!”

Speaking with GameByte last year, actor Bryan Dechart who plays Connor, admitted he’d love to come back for a sequel…or possibly DLC?
“I hope [for a sequel]!” exclaimed Bryan. “What’s really cool about the game is that it’s inspired a lot of people to write their own ideas of what happens in the world afterwards or beforehand.”
Keep your fingers crossed!
