Fans of Fall Guys are hoping an Xbox and Nintendo Switch release is imminent. However, don’t expect its arrival for a while longer.
When Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout arrived for PC and PlayStation in 2020, it became an overnight hit. A gameshow twist on the battle royale formula, gamers couldn’t get enough of the oddly lovable giant Beans.
However, at this time Fall Guys is only available for PC, PS4 and PS5. We do know that it will arrive on Xbox and Nintendo Switch one day, but we don’t know when that time will come. Fans were hoping it would make the jump to other platforms with the arrival of season 6, sadly, that has not been the case.
In a blog post, developers Mediatonic cooled fans’ expectations hoping that season 6 would finally be the time that Fall Guys would arrive on Xbox and Switch.
“We can’t wait to share more details with you in 2022.”
“We know everyone’s excited about Fall Guy coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox, with good reason,” wrote Mediatonic.
“There’s been a lot of speculation on social media connecting these new console releases to the Season 6 launch and we want to clarify that that’s not the case so no one’s left confused looking for the game on these platforms. Thank you for being patient with us, it’s one of our top priorities in active development and we can’t wait to share more details with you in 2022.”
So, there you have it, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will not be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S or Nintendo Switch before the year is out. However, at least we know that it will arrive in 2022 at some point.
