Speaking of DOOM, the game’s most-recent outing, DOOM Eternal, has been in the headlines once again after one gamer managed to get the game running on their fridge.

The DOOM games have long-since been a meme thanks to how versatile the original title is, with it now having been played on everything from a McDonalds cash register to a digital pregnancy test.

The Verge recently shared an Instagram post from user Richard Mallard showing an impressive use of technology as DOOM Eternal was played on a fridge. Like all great engineers, Richard played off this feat in a fairly laid-back way saying simply: “Forget the memes and jokes. I’m really out here! Get rekt on a Samsung smart fridge kid! Video soon. Lol”.
