Like an RKO out of nowhere, it has been revealed that Dying Light Platinum Edition is coming to the Nintendo Switch this October.
The news was spotted by Nintendo Everything (via Polish media outlet PPE). Dying Light Platinum Edition was announced during the Dying Light 2 gameplay reveal in May this year.
However, the Dying Light Platinum Edition was initially announced for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. In a nutshell, Dying Light Platinum Edition is a re-release of the 2015 game. It comes bundled with all previous expansions, DLC, updates, and more.
Yet, there was no previous mention that Dying Light Platinum Edition would eventually come to Nintendo’s console. So, this is a nice surprise.
Could this be the best version of Dying Light?

The Dying Light Platinum Edition hasn’t appeared on the Nintendo eShop at the time of writing. However, it will take advantage of the console’s gyro aiming, motion control, HD rumble, and touch screen for menu navigation. It will also have both online and local co-op.
It all sounds like a very robust Dying Light package and if it performs well on the Nintendo Switch, it could end up being the best version of this post-apocalyptic game yet.
Dying Light Platinum Edition will release for Nintendo Switch this October and is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
