Yes you did read that correctly you can now unlock the ability to play sports in Fortnite. At the moment you can play Basketball, Volley ball and Golf.
There have always been Basketball hoops around the world of Fortnite but now you can actually shoot a basket. A nice little game of pick up 2v2 never hurt anyone – unless you bring your AR with you.

The addition of the new areas of the map also unlock areas where you can play Golf and Volley ball.
Lazy Links which is where Anarchy Acres used to be is now a Golf course and Paradise Palms where Moisty Mire used to be is where you can play Volley ball on the beach.

You can unlock the regular Basketball at tier 11 on the Battle Pass.
You can unlock the Fancy Basketball at tier 91 on the Battle Pass.
You can unlock the regular Golf Ball at tier 27 on the Battle Pass.
You can unlock the Fancy Gold ball at tier 59 on the Battle Pass.
You can unlock the regular Beach Ball at tier 43 on the Battle Pass.
You can unlock the Fancy Beach Ball at tier 75 on the Battle Pass.
These will work well when the Playground mode returns to Fortnite in the near future. You don’t want to be shooting a 3 and get nailed in the back by a bolty. I like my sports without guns involved with it.
