Genndy Tartakovsky’s Star Wars: Clone Wars animated series is coming to Disney Plus! It’s not to be confused with Star Wars: The Clone Wars, of course, which is something else entirely.

Star Wars: Clone Wars is a more traditionally animated series from Tartakovsky. It originally aired on Cartoon Network between 2003 to 2005, and up until now has not appeared on Disney Plus.
Just to stop any confusion, Star Wars: The Clone Wars has been available on Disney Plus for some time. It’s a CG animated series that aired between 2008 and 2020.
The popular animated series from Genndy Tartakovsky will arrive on Disney Plus on April 2nd, however, it won’t be alone.
Joining Star Wars: Clone Wars next month will also be the classic 80’s animated series Star Wars: Ewoks, and The Story of the Faithful Wookiee, an animated movie from 1978 which featured the first-ever appearance of Bounty Hunter, Boba Fett.
Personally, I’m over the moon that Star Wars: Clone Wars is coming to Disney Plus next month, as it’s a series I used to own on DVD many years ago.

It is also a series that my son has never watched, so it will be nice to revisit the series with my little Ewok.
Back in December 2020, a huge flurry of Star Wars shows were announced as coming to Disney Plus.
The announcements included Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, which will see Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen reprising their iconic roles.

In total, a whopping 10 new Star Wars shows were announced in 2020 and now with some returning fan-favourites, the value of Disney Plus just keeps on growing!
