The director of the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima movie has said that fans will “be very happy” with the PlayStation adaptation.
In an IGN exclusive, John Wick director Chad Stahelski was at The Matrix: Resurrections red carpet event. When asked how the Ghost of Tsushima adaptation is going, Stahelski replied: “We just want to do it right” and that the script is still currently being worked on.
“You know how video game adaptations can go. So, we’re taking our time and doing it right. We’re working very closely with the game developers to make sure we stick to what’s great about it.”
Furthermore, Stahelski said that fans “would be very happy with what we’re working on”. He also added that he’s played Ghost of Tsushima “many times” which is why he was drawn to the project.
Will Daisuke Tsuje return?
However, details on the Ghost of Tsushima movie are very vague at this time. When quizzed as to whether Daisuke Tsuje, who voices the English-speaking Jin Sakai would reprise his role in the movie, Stahelski simply replied: “We’ll see. We haven’t gotten that far yet.”
