Attack Helicopters In Call Of Duty: Warzone Have Already Been Removed

The new attack helicopters in Call of Duty: Warzone have already been removed due to them turning invisible.

The new attack helicopter was only added to Warzone this week as part of the season one of content, but thanks to this glitch it has been temporarily removed.

With the release of season one we also saw the multiplayer integration of both Call of Duty: Warzone and Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

The new attack helicopter could be used on any of the two battle royale maps such as Verdansk and the new Rebirth Island.

To have any vehicle to turn invisible sounds like a lot of fun to me and puts a whole new meaning to a stealth mission, but it’s definitely not what was intended!

As you can imagine this exploit will give any players that use it an insanely unfair advantage and when you consider the attack helicopter has mounted mini-guns on both sides of the chopper, that K/D ratio is going to get some sweet lovin’.

Unfortunately as fun as this glitch might be to those that use it, it’s not so much fun for the unsuspecting victims down below.

So Raven Software, co-developers of the Call of Duty series, released a tweet announcing the temporary removal of the attack helicopter.

PSA! The attack helicopter has been temporarily removed from both Warzone maps – Verdansk and Rebirth Island,” said Raven Software in a tweet.

The tweet continued: “The vehicle will return once the related issues have been fixed.  The normal helicopter will remain available.

The company then clarified that “this change is to combat the bug causing players to appear invisible to others.

It’s not clear when the helicopters will return to Call of Duty: Warzone.

The Black Ops Cold War and Warzone season one has been billed as “the largest free content drop in Black Ops history”.  You can read up on what’s included in the content here.
