Hogwarts Legacy Dark Arts teased us in the latest gameplay trailer which was featured at Gamescom Opening Night Live.
Developed by Avalanche Software, Hogwarts Legacy is the highly anticipated game set in the Wizarding World universe. Furthermore, being set in the late 1800s, its events take place years prior to Fantastic Beasts as well as Harry Potter.

In this latest gameplay trailer, we meet Sebastian Sallow and it teases the art of learning the forbidden magic of the Dark Arts.
Moreover, Dark Arts magic known as the “Unforgiveable Curses” is teased. However, whether you use these curses is completely up to you. The Gamescom trailer also gives us a glimpse of Hogwarts University, its outer boundaries as well as some magical creatures.

Hogwarts Legacy is described as an open-world, action RPG. In it, you will be able to embark on a journey like never before in the Wizarding World. You can choose your House (or have the Sorting Hat choose it for you), learn spells (for better or worse), as well as forge friendships and much more.

When is the Hogwarts Legacy release date?

Hogwarts Legacy recently suffered a new delay, pushing the game back from later this year to early next year. The new release date for Hogwarts Legacy is February 10th, 2022 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. It will then release for the Nintendo Switch at a later date.
