Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has absolutely smashed it out of the park, offering longstanding Star Wars fans the third-person adventure game we’ve all been asking for.
However, the game isn’t anywhere near perfect, and one of the things that players have taken issue with is the overall style and aesthetic of the game. If you’re one of those people who’s been left disappointed with how bland the game can look then you’re in luck, because modders are already here to help.
Despite the game only just launching, there’s already a number of mods you can install to change the way Jedi: Fallen Order looks, and there’s a lot of options out there.
NexusMods is currently awash with Jedi: Fallen Order mods that’ll allow you to make Cal “less ginger,” replace Cal with Ben Skywalker, and even add in some snazzy outfits.
There’s also several mods to “fix” textures and lighting in the game, so if you’ve been struggling with that then a mod might be a good option for you. Check them all out on NexusMods right here [via PCGamer].
Back before the game’s release, Respawn changed up the game’s look following fan backlash after gameplay footage was revealed.
During the E3 gameplay reveals, lots of gamers and Star Wars fans were pretty upset to see some very dull-looking lightsabers that were a world away from the bright and shiny things wielded in the movies.
However, Respawn took the upset on board and confirmed that the lightsabers have had a bit of a revamp as a result of the backlash.
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order director Stig Asmussen told The Game Informer Show at the time: “We made a mistake on that one, and since then have fixed it,” Asmussen responded. “That was very fair feedback and fair criticism. We’ve tweaked [the light], and also tweaked the shape of the lightsaber blade a little. You can see the difference right away.”
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available now on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
