Logo Of Warner Bros. Latest Game Accidentally Leaked Online

It feels like we’ve got new games coming out of our ears at the moment. You can’t go online without seeing another release date, or a teaser trailer, or even a company accidentally leaking their own announcement. Well, the more skeptical ones amongst you may think this is a clever marketing ploy, but I choose to believe in people. Anyway, the latest one is the new Warner Bros. game.

Well, we can confirm that it is actually Hitman 2.

Yes, it looks like Warner Bros. is bringing out a sequel to the infinitely popular third-person shooter.

The company accidentally leaked the logo onto the Warner Bros. website before quickly being taken back down.

Sadly, on the internet there is such a thing as ‘screenshot’, so it spread like wildfire.

Suddenly, these tweets aren’t as exciting anymore…

We just have to wait for the official announcement on Thursday now.

In the meantime, the Electronic Entertainment Expo is mere days away, and we want to know what other games are going to be featured at the gaming event of the year.

Recently, there has been some information released by Sony’s Worldwide studios chief Shawn Layden.

Layden revealed on the latest PlayStation blogcast that the event will of course be streamed on YouTube, Twitch and Facebook and will show a ‘deep dive’ into four massive upcoming titles.

They are as follows:

Death Stranding at Sony E3

This game caused a stir a few months ago with its bizarre trailers including some familiar faces. Check out the trailer below.

It is of course Hideo Kojima’s first huge project since leaving the world of Metal Gear and has left many people confused. Hopefully we will see more about the game and actually understand exactly what it is at the conference.

Ghost of Tsushima at Sony E3

YouTube video

Not a huge amount is known about this game either but this description has been used online:

The year is 1274. Samurai warriors are the legendary defenders of Japan–until the fearsome Mongol Empire invades the island of Tsushima, wreaking havoc and conquering the local population. As one of the last surviving samurai, you rise from the ashes to fight back. But, honorable tactics won’t lead you to victory. You must move beyond your samurai traditions to forge a new way of fighting–the way of the Ghost–as you wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Japan.

Spider-Man at Sony E3

This was actually revealed last E3! Hopefully we will get to know even more about the game although a fair bit of information surrounding the new game has already emerged. This includes the game not being attached to any movie and makes its own story. This is a first for a Spiderman game and holds a lot of potential. We shall see what they have to say about the game!

The Last of Us Part 2 at Sony E3

I think this is the most wanted game of the four with fans of the series begging for one for the past few years. (Pretty much since the first game came out).

like Spiderman this was also briefly spoken about last E3 with the trailer dropping then as well.

We are also very excited to see where Joel and Ellie will go on their next infection filled adventure.

This trailer was dropped a few months after during Paris Games week as well and shows us even more of what we can expect from the game.

Layden also said this about the Sony E3 Conference:

So today I would just like to talk about helping people understand where we’re going with the E3 event this year, and I’ll just come right out and say it. E3 this year will feature exclusive looks and deep dives on four upcoming titles—four of our big titles… We have great content. We have fantastic updates. I think everyone will be thrilled to see it. And we’re taking kind of a different angle on how we’re bringing it out.

It’s going to be a big one. I hope you UK members can stay up long enough as we will be keeping up to date with the latest and greatest from E3.
