Minecraft Player Recreates The House From Pixar’s ‘Up’

One creative Minecraft player has taken it upon themselves to recreate the flying house that appeared in Pixar’s 2009 film, Up.

Reddit user ‘GamersGuildYT’ posted on the domain ‘MinecraftBuilds’ with the title “Carl and Ellie’s house from Disney Pixar’s Up”, showcasing a complete rendition of the house from the movie using Minecraft blocks.

The video GamersGuildYT posted appears to have been edited too, showing the house roaring through the skies just as it does in the Pixar movie. They also link to a timelapse of the build in the comments, which shows the process of building the house from the ground up.

All-in-all, it’s a very impressive build and makes me want to go back and rewatch the movie again. Some commenters on the Reddit thread also feel the same way: “Bro that’s so cool” says one commenter. “I like the way you timelapse it so it looks like the house is moving but actually it’s the clouds,” applauds another.

Minecraft is getting on for 11 years old now, and it’s amazing that creators are still coming up with so many cool builds in the game. One builder is attempting to recreate the entire Star Wars galaxy in-game, while another group runs an entire server that features Middle-earth from The Lord of the Rings.
