Activision has officially unveiled the launch date of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Two, and the reveal came with some VERY interesting teases for what we can expect to see.
We’ve been expecting the return of fan-favourite character, Simon “Ghost” Riley, for a while now, but now it seems almost guaranteed thanks to a new reveal trailer dropped by Activision.
The trailer also raised a lot of eyebrows by teasing players with another classic throwback. It looks like one of the best maps in the history of the CoD franchise is about to make a comeback: Rust.
We heard suggestions of some classic maps coming to the game as far back as October last year, but the trailer is the first official hint at the return of Rust.
For those who absolutely can’t wait a moment longer for Season Two to drop, there’s some amazing news. Activision and Infinity Ward have revealed that Season Two will begin Tuesday, February 11, meaning there’s less than a week to wait.

If you’re still rummaging your way around the maps of Season One, you’ve still got time to progress through your Battle Pass tiers.
Activision explains: “When Season One ends, the tiers of the Battle Pass system get a refresh. New rewards arrive and the original rewards disappear, which means there’s only a short time left to unlock the rewards available now in the current Battle Pass system.
“If you haven’t purchased your Battle Pass yet, or still need to unlock all your tiers, it’s not too late! The current progression you’ve made will still be in effect when you purchase the Battle Pass. The tiers you passed will now be unlocked and those items will be added to your inventory.”
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Two will begin Tuesday, February 11.
