According to MP1ST, the second Resident Evil Village demo has been uploaded to PSN, and with an RE Showcase scheduled for next week, it looks likely we’ll be playing it then!

PSN is not to be confused with the PSN Store here. The demo is an upload to the PlayStation Network, which suggests that a release of the demo is imminent. It’s not yet available to download.

However, thanks to the backend upload, some details of the playable demo have been revealed such as Remote Play controls and download size.

We already have the Maiden demo which was released during January’s Resident Evil Showcase. The demo is a PS5-only and combat-free (for the player) experience, to show off the game’s lovely visuals.

The Maiden demo was exclusive to the PlayStation 5, however, during the January showcase, it was announced that a second demo would arrive which would be available across multiple platforms.

Back in March, it was revealed that this second demo, unlike the Maiden demo, would feature a part of the final game.

While we do not currently know what section of the game the second demo will feature, the PSN backend upload has at least leaked the base and the Remote Play controls.

Additionally, the data leaked via the PSN upload has also revealed that the demo will have a download size of around 10GB.
