Psychonauts 2 is getting two physical releases, the Motherlobe Edition and a Collector’s Edition, for the Xbox and PS4. Along with a hardcover art book and soundtrack vinyl sets!
Double Fine announced yesterday that Psychonauts 2 will be getting a physical release in the form of two different versions.
The Motherlobe Edition will feature art cards, stickers and a reversible sleeve. Releasing on September 27th, the Motherlobe Edition will cost $69.99 and is available now to pre-order.

For those more dedicated Psychonaut fans, there’s also the Collector’s Edition from iam8bit.
The Collector’s Edition comes with a 5-pin-set, two exclusive posters, both Psychonauts 1 and 2 on the disc and the official soundtrack. The Collector’s Edition, available from iam8bit, will fetch you $129.99.
Art Book and Vinyl Sets are coming too!
The Motherlobe Edition and Collector’s Edition aren’t the only new Psychonaut merchandise soon on their way. Iam8bit is also releasing a hardcover art book.
‘The Art of Psychonauts 2’ is a 250-page hardcover art book featuring un-released concept art, interviews from developers and more. Written by Ashley Esqueda, you can own a piece of gaming history and get an insight into the game’s art style and development. The Art of Psychonauts 2 is available to pre-order now for $49.99.
For you vinyl collectors out there, iam8bit also has two vinyl sets of Psychonauts 2 up for pre-order.
Double Fine games are always famous for their soundtracks, and now you can own the Psychonauts 2 OST by Peter McConnell on vinyl.
The first vinyl set is the Essential Edition. Featuring eye-catching album art by Arno Kiss. This record would look great as a display piece or part of any video game music collection. The ‘Psychonauts 2 Vinyl Soundtrack Essential Edition’ is available to pre-order now for $41.99.
