A Minecraft player is slowly but surely re-creating Hyrule from The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild in the creative sandbox survival game.
An image of what looks to be the Dueling Peaks with a Sheikah Tower to the side of the mountain was recently shared to Reddit, where it quickly amassed a lot of love.
The recreation of Breath of the Wild’s Hyrule is being made in Minecraft by Reddit user PixelGamersGaming, and it’s already looking very impressive indeed.
The Dueling Peaks isn’t an exact recreation, but it’s impressive nonetheless and I’m sure that it will be improved upon even further over time.
In a comment on the Reddit post, it was revealed that the Minecraft player plans on building even more iconic locations from Breath of the Wild.
Though to create everything would require an incredible level of dedication, because that map of Hyrule is massive!
“I also built the great plateau and I’m about to build Kakariko. I’ll post updates and if you want I’ll post the great plateau,” said the Reddit user.
The vast majority of the Reddit community were very complimentary of the work done by PixelGamersGaming. One user in particular stated that Minecraft and Breath of the Wild are two of their favourite games.
“My two favourite games are Minecraft and BOTW so it’s pretty cool to see them combined, I would love to see The Great Plateau,” said the complementing Reddit user.
Over the years Minecraft fans have been recreating The Legend of Zelda in a big way. We’ve already seen Ocarina of Time and Link’s Awakening remade in the ever-popular sandbox game.
I can’t wait to see the next piece of Breath of the Wild-inspired work from PixelGamersGaming.
