Could it be true?

Report Reveals Potential 2022 Release Window For Dead Space Remake

According to a recent report, it is claimed that the Dead Space remake might have a release window of 2022 late next year.

When the Dead Space remake was announced at EA Play Live in July, it was met with a lot of excitement from fans. A remake built from the ground up and it will be coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

We haven’t seen any gameplay yet as it is still in its early stages of development. Furthermore, we also don’t have a release date for the same reason.

Will Dead Space be released next year?

Speaking from my own perspective, I’m assuming that the Dead Space remake won’t release until 2023. Yet, if the recent report is to be believed, Dead Space might release Autumn 2022.

VentureBeat’s Jeff Grubb, who had previously leaked potential information before the remake was officially announced, believes that EA is aiming for the 2022 release. Grubb claims that the remake will release during EAs 2023 fiscal year, which would place it in the Fall 2022 window.

Delays are always likely in video game development

Obviously, the Fall 2022 release window is very tentative. Because we all know that video game development is very complicated, and delays are always likely.

That said, we’ve waited nearly a decade for a new Dead Space, so I would prefer it to release when it’s ready. Whether that be late 2022 or sometime in 2023.
