Capcom’s multiplayer game Resident Evil Re:Verse has been rated. So, could its release finally be imminent?
Resident Evil Re:Verse was bundled with Resident Evil Village, so fans expected that its release would soon follow. However, it’s now been over a year since Village launched and Re:Verse’s release seems to be nowhere in sight.
Following a poor beta reception, Capcom made the decision to delay Re:Verse indefinitely, pushing it back into 2022. However, its release could be around the corner, that’s if a PEGI rating is anything to go by.
The dead has joined forces
The PEGI rating was recently spotted by Gematsu, despite being rated over a year ago. Furthermore, it seems that the dead have joined forces as Re:Verse is now being released on Google Stadia.
That being said, as a Resident Evil obsessed fan, I’ve never felt much love for Re:Verse and it seems much of the community appears to feel the same. So, I can’t help but think that the Re:Verse ship has long sailed away.
In our review of Resident Evil Village, we said it: “provides moments of genuine horror, but will still entice you to come back for more, even if it’s to just be chased by Lady Dimitrescu. To put it simply, barring remakes, Resident Evil Village is the best entry in the series since Resident Evil 4.”
