Sony hasn’t decided as of yet whether or not it will expand upon the PlayStation Plus Collection by adding new games.
In case you didn’t know the PlayStation Plus Collection is an additional library of great PS4 games available to active PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS5.

At the time of writing, there are around 20 great games included in the PlayStation Plus Collection with the likes of God of War (2018), The Last of Us: Remastered, Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, Days Gone and more all making the cut.
You can check out the current list of PlayStation Plus Collection games here.
The PlayStation Plus Collection is a generous list of critically-acclaimed games which also features third-party titles at no extra cost.

You just need an active PS Plus subscription and a PS5 to get access to the incredible lineup. Each of the games included – at the very least – will be boosted by improved loading times over its PS4 counterpart.
However, despite the already generous lineup of games, some fans are wondering whether Sony has any plans to add to the list in the future.
Continuing with his media rounds, Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Jim Ryan recently spoke to GQ Magazine and was asked that very question.

When asked whether the PS Collection will be getting any additional titles, Jim Ryan indicated that it might depend on how well received the additional service is and how often its titles will be played.
“Well, we’re going to wait and see how the world receives the Plus Collection,” said the CEO. “You know, which games are played how much they’re played before we make any decisions about that.”
Ryan added: “We think it’s potentially going to be a great user acquisition tool. Arguably if you never had a PS4 and you choose to buy a PS5 you basically get a PS4, right?”

Despite the existence of PS Now, many fans are comparing the PS Plus Collection to Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass service.
However despite both PS Now and the PS Plus Collection co-existing, Jim Ryan hinted in a previous interview that Sony have plans to compete with Microsoft’s fantastic “Netflix for Games” service.
