Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is apparently getting a sequel, as developer Respawn Entertainment is on the hunt for a new Star Wars producer.

If previous rumours are to be believed, Respawn is currently working on a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Thanks to a recent job listing spotted by Comicbook, this now seems more likely than ever.
The job listing was shared by Respawn senior producer Blair Brown on Twitter, who added the following:
“Hey #gamedev #gamedevjobs twitter, I’m looking for an experienced Producer to come work with me on Star Wars @Respawn ! We’re a small production team and rarely have openings so hit me up quick if your interested or have questions!! Job details here⬇️”
While Brown’s Tweet doesn’t explicitly state which Star Wars game the team is working on, logic would suggest that it’s Fallen Order related.
The project could be something entirely new, but it’d make sense for Respawn to continue Cal Kestis’ story. After all, EA isn’t the only one making new Star Wars games, so it’d make sense for them to stick to what they know.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was the second highest-grossing game of 2020 in the US, so it’s safe to say that Respawn’s Star Wars formula works.
Just like with any rumour, take the potential Fallen Order sequel with a grain of salt.
The game is likely in production, but nothing has been made official, though EA has teased us in the past.
Whatever Respawn is working on, it’s likely in the early stages of development. With that in mind, it could be a while yet before we hear anything about Fallen Order’s sequel.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. You can also grab this Star Wars adventure on the GameByte Shop!
