It seems that fan-favourite game Star Wars Republic Commando might be heading to the Nintendo Switch.

A leak was discovered by dataminer NWPlayer123 [via Eurogamer], who noticed that Star Wars Republic Commando had been added to the Nintendo online store servers. This indicates that the game is set to release for the Nintendo Switch.
According to the information discovered, the Star Wars Republic Commando port for the Nintendo Switch will be handled by Aspyr, who has a track record of porting Star Wars video games.
Previously Aspyr has ported Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, its sequel Jedi Outcast, as well as Star Wars Episode 1: Racer all to the PS4 and Nintendo Switch. Aspyr has also handled many ports for other franchises over the years.
Star Wars Republic Commando originally released for the PC and OG Xbox way back in 2005. This tactical first-person shooter is widely considered to be one of the best Star Wars games of all time.

There were plans to release a sequel to Star Wars Republic Commando years ago; sadly that proposal never came to be. However the Republic Commando story did live on in a number of novels from author Karen Traviss.
Star Wars Republic Commando is currently playable on Xbox One thanks to backwards compatibility. It’s also available on Steam.

Earlier this month rumours also surfaced that Aspyr is to develop the much speculated return of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
