The latest music video from UK rap artist Stormzy has been made entirely in Watch Dogs: Legion, as revealed with the release of ‘Rainfall’ featuring Tiana Major9 this week.
Back in September it was announced that not only would UK rapper Stormzy be a playable character in Watch Dogs: Legion which releases later this month, but the reveal also gave us a glimpse of his forthcoming music video taken from his number one, gold-selling album, ‘Heavy is the Head’.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen the worlds of music and video games collide. Music artists have used games like the popular battle royale game Fortnite to reveal their latest videos. But as with most videos, they’re of the traditional kind, featuring the real-world artists as they are in real-life. However, Stormzy’s new video is made entirely in-game, as if it was an actual mission itself.
Check it out in the video below!

Speaking of a mission, Stormzy will not only be a playable character that you can recruit in-game to join your resistance, but he’ll also have his very own exclusive mission entitled “Fall on My Enemies”, which sees the rapper work with DedSec to ensure that his music video is broadcast across the suppressed city of London.
Stormzy, who is not only a successful music artist in the UK, is also known to be vocal in the fight for social activism. Creative Director at Ubisoft Toronto, Clint Hocking, had this to say on the rappers involvement in Watch Dogs: Legion: “We are thrilled for Stormzy to be a part of Watch Dogs: Legion. His music and what he speaks to as an artist is extremely relevant for our London setting, and for the larger themes of our game.”
Hocking added: “It’s been almost a year since we had Stormzy in the studio to film his performance. He lit up the room, and captivated us all. He’s a great collaborator, and it was a career highlight for us to get to work with him.“

Watch Dogs: Legion will release this month on October 29th for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia, it will then be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on the launch day of the next-gen consoles, to which owners of the last-gen version will get a free next-gen upgrade.
