Developed by Crema and published by Humble Games, there’s little denying that Temtem is inspired by the long-running Nintendo series. However, that doesn’t mean Temtem doesn’t look fun and aims to imprint its own stamp on the tried and tested formula.
Temtem launched on Steam Early Access in 2020 and now it’s almost ready for its full release on PC, as well as consoles later this year. Happy Days!
If Pokemon was an MMO!
“Temtem is a massively multiplayer creature-collection adventure where players seek adventure in the lovely Airborne Archipelago alongside their Temtem squad,” reads the press release.
“Players can catch every Temtem, battle other tamers, customise their house, join a friend’s adventure or explore the dynamic online world.” Oh, and you can also test your skills against other online players too.
Being an MMO, Temtem not only has a campaign that can be played solo, but it is also fully playable with friends. In Temtem, your goal is to become the world’s best Tamer and fight against the villainous Clan Belsoto.
Customise your Tamer and home!
You will also be able to fully customise your playable character with wonderful outfits and accessories, to embrace your identity. Furthermore, you can buy a house for when you want to invite friends round to talk strategy.
Temtem will evolve into its final form for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch on September 6th, 2022. You can read our early access review of Temtem here!
