It might finally have happened: Rockstar Games may have just blessed the world with what’s believed to be the first official tease for GTA 6.
Last week Rockstar Games teased the announcement of the biggest update to ever release for GTA Online, before it was officially revealed as The Cayo Perico Heist.

The Cayo Perico Heist update is so big that it adds an extra island to the already huge world of Los Santos, which is pretty exciting in itself.
In the update you will be tasked with taking on “the world’s most notorious drug dealer in Grand Auto Online’s biggest, most daring, and action-packed addition yet”.
You will have to breach the dangerous and private island of Cayo Perico and escape with as much treasure, gold and drug money as you can.
It’s up to you how you play The Cayo Perico Heist as you can pull off the perfect job with a crew with up to three other players, or go solo. But enough about GTA Online – let’s talk GTA 6 and what the internet believes is the game’s first “official” tease.
When the GTAO update was initially teased we were treated to a very short ten-second clip. At first glance there didn’t seem to be too much all that strange with the video, but the internet has now done what it does best – investigate.
Eagle-eyed gamers noticed what looked to be coordinates at the bottom of the video in question [via TheGamer].
These apparent coordinates didn’t seem to match the world of Los Santos, but when the coordinates were entered into Google it took players to Virginia in the US.
Again, at a quick glance, there doesn’t seem to be anything unusual about the location that players were led to. However when zoomed in there is a dirt road that seems to have a particular pattern.
The dirt road in question seems to resemble the Roman numeral for the number six, which of course got fans speculating that this was a tease for Grand Theft Auto 6.
It would be easy to dismiss this as not even a tease for GTA 6; however it seems to be too much of a coincidence for it not to be.
GTA fan account ‘GTA 6 Only’ tweeted: “When I searched this location on Map, it showed a place in North America and the roads direction were in the shape of VI”
Personally I do think this is a genuine tease and a result of Rockstar Games having some fun with its fan base. However I would be surprised if GTA 6 was set in Virginia but you never know!
