Top Streamer Calls For US vs. UK Modern Warfare Ground War Event

One of the best things about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is its Ground War mode, which sees 64 players battle it out against one another in two teams. In the world of pro gaming, one top streamer is calling for a massive match between the United States and the United Kingdom, presumably to see which country has the better CoD players.

Tom Cassell, best known by his online persona, Syndicate, already has a lot of people hyped for such an event. Tweeting about his idea, Syndicate proposed hosting “the first ever Call of Duty Groundwar Invitational,” with “all your favourite CoD streamers and YouTubers thrown into a 32v32 game.”

He then followed up the tweet with the idea of a UK vs. USA match.

Big names and brand quickly showed their support for the idea, including Scuf Gaming and esports commentator Alan Brice.

Whether or not such an epic battle could take place remains to be seen, but here’s hoping Call of Duty takes note of the idea!

Right now is the perfect time for a Ground War showdown as more players than ever are picking up Modern Warfare thanks to the launch of the game’s Season One.

A load of new content has come with the launch, and of course, the Battle Pass is now available for purchase.

The Season One Battle Pass for Modern Warfare promises “access to unlock up to 100 tiers of customization content, including Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Watches, and more.”

The Pass will set you back 1000 CoD Points, and you’ll need to purchase a new Pass every Season. Hit tier 98 in the Pass and you’ll score yourself 1,300 points, allowing you to get the next Pass for “free” when it drops.
