You Can Use The Konami Code To Alter The Design Of Twitch

Twitch livestreamer DevinNash recently revealed a very cool feature hidden away within the streaming platform, and it involves the one and only Konami code.

As you can see in the clipped video below, DevinNash entered the Konami code into Twitch which unlocked a “Hidden Menu.” Within the menu are options including: Activity Feed Panel, Chat Panel and Quick Action Panel.

By opening up this secret “Hidden Menu,” you’ll be able to customise a lot more of Twitch’s design options, and did I mention you access it by using the Konami code?! Very awesome. Check it out in action in the video below!

In case you don’t remember (or if you’re too young to remember), the Konami code is the infamous code which could be entered into a variety of Konami game menus’ to unlock cheats. It’s particularly well-known for its inclusion in the NES version of Contra. As a reminder it’s up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A and then usually “start.”

If you want a little more control over your Twitch design then best head over to DevinNash‘s stream and say thanks!

Speaking of Twitch, the streaming platform recently saw a pretty well-known figure signing up: President Donald Trump.

The channel is simply called “donaldtrump,” but don’t expect any Let’s Plays, Twitch Reacts or accidental nudity (though I’m personally pretty thankful that the latter almost definitely won’t happen). Instead, the channel has been secured as a part of his re-election strategy.

Naturally, you can’t have the words “Twitch” and “Trump” in the same sentence and not expect to stir up some controversy. The news was met with a lot of backlash across social media, with one user taking to Twitter to criticise the move.

Trump’s Twitch channel is still up and running.
