Borat 2 Gets New Trailer, Release Date & Ridiculous Title

It’s official – Borat is making a comeback with a brand new movie headed straight to Amazon Prime. As you’d expected, the new film is looking about as inappropriate as possible, from its official title to its first trailer.

The sequel is officially titled ‘The Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan’ (yes, that’s the official title and no, it wouldn’t fit in the headline of this article).

Borat 2 (as we’ll probably all call it) is coming to Amazon Prime this month, with a release date of October 23.

The movie once again stars Sacha Baron Cohen as Kazakhstani resident, Borat. Off on an adventure to the United States, Borat has to disguise himself to hide from the people who recognise him from his first movie, originally released 14 years ago.

As in the first movie, it looks like we can expect political shenanigans once again, as the trailer reveals that the real-life Donald Trump impersonator who crashed Mike Pence’s speech at CPAC in February this year was actually Cohen’s character, Borat.

If you haven’t yet seen it, check out the new trailer in the video below!

If you were wondering how a movie like this could possibly fly in the very politically correct world of 2020, the answer seems to be “fairly well.”

The official trailer seems to be impressing fans so far, with a whopping 26k of YouTube “likes” to less than a thousand “dislikes” on the video shown above. Do we have another hit for Borat on our hands? It seems likely!

You’ll be able to watch “The Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan” for yourself on October 23, via Amazon Prime.
