Call Of Duty Warzone Mobile Leak Shows Fan Favourite Map

Some Call of Duty Warzone Mobile footage has leaked online, showing off Verdansk in low resolution glory.

As reported by VGC, some Call of Duty Warzone Mobile footage has been posted online by Twitter user CoD_Perseus. All of CoD_Perseus’ tweets containing the leaked footage have now been taken down. But the footage is still viewable in VGC’s report.

Unsurprisingly, the footage looks like Call of Duty, so fans at least don’t have to worry about that. The footage shows the start of a match as a player flies in on a plane, so pretty standard Warzone stuff. And it shows them dropping into Verdansk, the map originally featured in the console and PC version of Warzone.

There’s about 90 seconds of footage all in, including a brief stint in the gulag when the player is killed. Obviously it’s hard to tell how it plays, but it looks to be mostly the same, albeit with touch controls. And obviously, bad compression of the footage aside, everything is a bit lower resolution.

Call of Duty Warzone 2 Leak Shows Off Surprisingly Huge Map

We’ve known since March that a mobile version of Warzone was in development. And in May, an invite-only closed alpha test had begun. Not much has been shown of the game officially just yet, but with the footage leaking online, we might be seeing something official soon.

There’s been plenty of Call of Duty related leaks recently, it seems. In late May, a big Call of Duty Warzone 2 leak gave us a look at the new map. And it is looking surprisingly huge.

And while this one is an official reveal, we do finally know when Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is expected to release. There will be a bigger reveal later today.
