Modern Warfare 2 will be launching later this year on October 28th. It’ll most likely be on all modern systems; PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. Downgraded PS4 and Xbox One versions are also likely. However, it probably won’t be on Nintendo Switch.

Call Of Duty Warzone 2 Will Be Revealed Later This Year

The release date announcement came in a video released on the official Call of Duty YouTube channel. Titled ‘Artwork Reveal – Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II’, the video shows some key artwork from the game.

The date was then also confirmed on the official Call of Duty Twitter account.

Art of characters like Ghost, Kyle and Captain Price are shown, confirming their reappearance in the game’s sequel. It also shows some new characters off. One of these is presumably Soap, the protagonist of the original Modern Warfare, who was teased in the reboot’s post-credits scene.

Modern Warfare (2019) was followed up with Black Ops Cold War and Vanguard. While Black Ops Cold War saw some success, Vanguard’s sales dropped a lot compared to its predecessor.
