You may very well find this a little disrespectful, but whether you have a virus or not, it seems that the Dr might be seeing you in Cyberpunk 2077. To be more specific, one of the world’s most popular streamers – Dr Disrespect – might be featured in CD Projekt Red’s highly anticipated game this year.

With the release of Cyberpunk 2077 just a mere month away, the official Twitter account representing the sci-fi RPG sent out a tweet reminding fans that the big release is just around the corner.
This prompted Dr Disrespect to seemingly tease some Cyberpunk 2077-related news. He took to the platform to retweet this post, adding: “Just wait until you see what we have planned. Next level.”
We might not know what’s going on here, but it’s tentatively believed that Dr Disrespect could be teasing a cameo in Cyberpunk 2077. A number of streamers, including Alanah Pearce, have already been confirmed to have in-game cameos.
Of course at this stage, this is just pure speculation, but it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that Dr Disrespect (real name Herschel Beahm IV, which is a great name), might very well be trolling us all, as he’s known for being a little bit of a wind-up.
However, it’s also not outside the realms of possibility that he might actually feature in Cyberpunk 2077 in some capacity. Just recently, Dr Disrespect collaborated with First Watch Games and Hi-Rez Studios to design a new map in free-to-play multiplayer shooter Rogue Company, as well as having his very own cosmetic skin.
Before becoming one of the world’s most well-known streamers, Dr Disrespect used to work as a Level Designer and has even worked on big franchises such as Call of Duty with Sledgehammer Games in the past. Just taking into consideration the streamers words in the Re-tweet, in particular “next level” could the Dr be designing an area in Cyberpunk 2077?
With the game recently going Gold, it’s more than likely too late to have something included in the main campaign, unless it’s patched in, which I find doubtful. However, it is possible that he might be working with developers at CDPR to create a map for the games multiplayer, which is expected to release next year.
Obviously this is all speculation on our part, but I do very much believe that there is no smoke without fire in this instance. So if the Dr isn’t designing a level, could his character make a cameo as an NPC? Maybe he might be a Dr that provides you with augmentations or he may even be a toilet janitor?
Cyberpunk 2077 will release for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Google Stadia on November 19th.
