God Of War Ragnarok Report Denies 2023 Delay

God of War Ragnarok won’t be delayed to 2023, according to journalist Jason Schreier of Bloomberg.

It seems like every other week we’re hearing reports of God of War Ragnarok being delayed. As well as the developers debunking reports adamant that the next adventures from Kratos and Atreus are still on track for a 2022 release.

Usually, I’d like to believe developers and publishers, however, we all know that delays are always inevitable. Especially when it comes to the God of War franchise. Though at the end of the day, I just want a game to release in the best possible state, whether there have been delays or not.

Will it be released in 2022 or 2023?

The most recent reports were only making the internet rounds last week, claiming that Ragnarok will be pushed back into 2023. In that very same article, responding to the rumours, Schreier did claim that he’s personally heard no such reports.

God Of War Ragnarok’s Accessibility Features Look Incredible

Following up on last week’s gossip, Jason Schreier has claimed that he’s been informed by three sources close to the development of God of War Ragnarok, that it will release this November.

Furthermore, two of the three sources also claim that the release date for Ragnarok will be announced by Sony later this month. We always say that unconfirmed rumours should be taken with a pinch of salt. That being said, Jason Schreier does have a reliable track record when it comes to this kind of information.

Announced in 2020, God of War Ragnarok was originally scheduled to release in 2021. However, it has suffered multiple delays since. Hopefully, the report from Schreier is true and we can look forward to Ragnarok’s big release this November.
