Hollywood favourite Keanu Reeves has confirmed that he has met with Marvel and Kevin Feige. However, a role hasn’t been given “yet.”
In an interview with Comicbook.com, Keanu Reeves confirmed that he has had meetings with Marvel and Feige, but that’s as far as it’s gone. At least that’s the official story. In my opinion, when Keanu Reeves and Marvel meet up, I doubt it’s for a casual chat about red pills and blue pills.
“We have met, and [Kevin Feige’s] a cool cat,” said Keanu. “Yeah. But no, we don’t have anything, got to find something.”
Keanu in the MCU? Yes, please!
Back in 2019, Keanu Reeves confirmed that he’s had talks with Marvel. Furthermore, earlier in 2021, rumours were making the internet rounds that Keanu will play the role of Kraven the Hunter in the MCU. However, the role of Kraven has been cast to Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
If Keanu Reeves was to play a character in the MCU, it wouldn’t be the first time that he’s played a comic book character. Keanu played DC Comics John Constantine in the 2005 movie, Constantine.
Recently, Keanu Reeves’ latest movie The Matrix: Resurrections arrived in cinemas worldwide this week. John Wick Chapter 4 has also recently been delayed until March 2023.
