A leaker has backed previous reports of the GTA Remastered Trilogy, apart from when the remastered collection might release.
At this point, the rumours of the GTA Remastered Trilogy is one of the current worst kept secrets in gaming. While Rockstar Games parent company Take-Two hasn’t outright confirmed its existence, I think we all suspect that it’s coming.
Earlier in the month during an investor report, Take-Two confirmed that it is planning to release three announced games, which will be iterations of previously released titles.
Then just a few days later, sources of Kotaku allegedly confirmed that the GTA Remastered Trilogy is real, and it will apparently release for the Nintendo Switch, as well as PlayStation and Xbox consoles. A later release for PC and mobile devices is also said to be on the cards.
Some reports have been conflicting
However, there have been conflicting reports as to when the Remastered Trilogy might release. The first report earlier in the month said that it will be released by March 31st, 2022. Yet the report from Kotaku claimed that it would be released by the end of this year.
As reported by VGC, Tom Henderson, who is quite a reputable leaker of information especially when it concerns Call of Duty and Battlefield, believes that the GTA Remastered Trilogy will release in 2022.
“I wasn’t going to mention the GTA Remastered Trilogy, because everything I’ve heard has been covered,” tweeted Henderson. “The only difference is that I don’t believe the launch time frame is correct.”

Henderson then followed up by simply tweeting: “sometime in 2022.”

We must take all unconfirmed rumours with a pinch of salt. However, I think it’s fair to say that when it concerns the GTA Remastered Trilogy, it’s likely a question of when and not if.
