GTA 6 Rumours Hint At Possible Cuban Map & ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ Protagonists

With Rockstar still keeping quiet about any possible GTA 6 news, it is down to the leakers to keep us guessing with what we can expect.

It has been over a year since Rockstar confirmed GTA 6’s existence and since then, we have received a whole lot of rumours but nothing concrete. September last year saw a massive cyber attack which resulted in GTA 6 leaks swarming the internet. More recently, there were rumours that the latest instalment could be set for a late 2024 launch

Now, the latest leaks have hinted at a possible Cuban map and 80s flashbacks.

New GTA 6 Rumours

In a report by GamingBible, YouTuber Tyler McVicker has claimed that he has inside knowledge regarding the upcoming GTA 6. Although the Youtuber has no ties to Rockstar, he still had some comments to make in a recent stream (that has since been taken down).

“We already know how GTA VI is gonna end. Spoilers, Bonnie and Clyde back in like the 30s, died in a blaze of gunfire,” he reportedly said. “It’s not three playable characters, it’s two playable characters. It takes place with a time jump. It takes place in the Miami, Florida, area and then also part of Cuba. It’s about the drug trade. It’s about bank robbing. It’ll be out in 2024.”

The “two playable characters” could refer to previous leaks that GTA 6 would consist of a male and female character named Jason and Lucia respectively. As for the other claims, they must be taken with a pinch of salt as McVicker provides no sources to his claims.

A Look Back

The ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ protagonists were part of last September’s cyber leak. Additionally, the rumoured voice actor for Jason has been taking to the internet to tease his involvement

As for the Cuba rumour, it apparently first surfaced earlier this year. However according to McVicker, GTA 6 will take place in Miami but with a possible flashback to Cuba. This could mean they head there for a one-off heist or a portion of the game is set there. Of course, this is just speculation.

For now, all we can do is speculate and take all rumours with a pinch of salt until Rockstar reveals more.
