A strange Red Dead Online clip sees a player transformed into a UFO. So, does this count as a UFO sighting?
The world of Red Dead Online can be a weird and wonderful place. Not only with random events, but its bugs and glitches can provide plenty of humour too. We’ve seen horses running wild, and even NPCs turning into skeletons!
We know that UFOs do exist in Red Dead Redemption 2, however, that hasn’t stopped fans from searching for the truth in the hope of seeing an alien roaming the lands of RDO for themselves.

That being said, as reported by Game Rant, a clip was shared by Reddit user raiki42 of their Red Dead Online avatar being transformed into a UFO. Though to be fair, this footage looks more like the RDO avatar is about to attend a cosplay party.
Is there something more going on?
In the clip, the player can be seen running dressed as a UFO. However, while it’s easy to assume that this could be a glitch, there could be more going on here.
One Reddit user believes that a modder may have got control of the lobby and was able to change the appearance of the avatar. According to a previous Game Rant article, this is something that has happened before.
“Someone with a mod menu is messing with your lobby. Careful if they start flooding your game account with money tho,” said KingBongGogger420. “It gets people banned.”
