Ubisoft has said Skull & Bones, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, as well as the Mario + Rabbids sequel, are on track to release within a year.
The release window was stated during a recent earnings call with Ubisoft shareholders. Chief corporate finance officer Frédérick Duguet stated that each of the three titles will be released during the second half of the fiscal year.
Still no date?
Skull & Bones is a pirate ship multiplayer game inspired by Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag. It was announced at E3 2017. Since that time, we’ve not seen or heard much about the game. However, alpha gameplay for Skull & Bones recently leaked, indicating that the game is still in development.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was also announced at E3 2017 (not to be confused with the MMO). Less than a year ago, Ubisoft did treat us to a “first look” trailer. While no set release date has been confirmed, it does have a 2022 window.
Furthermore, we finally got a trailer for the movie sequel ‘Avatar: Way of Water’ which arrives in cinemas in December 2022. So, with that in mind, it makes perfect sense for both the video game and the movie to release during the same window.
Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope is the sequel to Kingdom Battle for the Nintendo Switch, and was revealed during E3 2021.
When will they release?
So, when will these three games be released? Well, we don’t know exactly. However, what we do know is that they should release between October 1st, 2022, and March 31st, 2023.
