Host of The Game Awards, Geoff Keighley, has announced that Hollywood star Tom Holland will be presenting at the video games ceremony next week.
“Spoiler Alert: Tom Holland joins us next Thursday as a presenter for The Game Awards,” said Keighley, confirming the news on Twitter.
Tom Holland, who is more commonly known for his role as Peter Parker a.k.a Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is also playing a young Nathan Drake in the upcoming Uncharted movie.
Back in October, the production of the Uncharted movie wrapped up, so with Tom Holland presenting (we assume an award) at The Game Awards, many are speculating that we might get our first glimpse of the Uncharted movie during the event.

The Game Awards is expected to be a very Sony-heavy occasion, with many PlayStation 4 games nominated for a number of categories. The Last of Us Part 2, Ghost of Tsushima and Final Fantasy VII Remake are all PS4 exclusives, and all up for the prestigious Game of the Year award.
Naughty Dog, the studio behind both Uncharted and The Last of Us, is up for no fewer than nine awards on the night for The Last of Us Part 2, which also includes Best Performance for both Ashley Johnson and Laura Bailey.
There’s every chance that we might get our first tease of the Uncharted movie, which also co-stars Mark Wahlberg as Nathan Drake’s mentor Victor “Sully” Sullivan.

With Naughty Dog having such a dominating presence at the awards, plus a potential tease or trailer for the Uncharted movie, I am also hoping that we’ll get our first glimpse of the multiplayer mode for The Last of Us Part 2, presumably called Factions.
