In a new Nintendo Switch advert, Hollywood star and Captain Marvel actor Brie Larson shows-off her gaming skills playing three of her favourite video games, including fitness game Ring Fit and Fortnite.
In the video, Larson begins her day playing Fortnite before she is rudely interrupted by an agent wanting to know her thoughts on an upcoming script. However it seems that Larson is way too occupied in claiming her number one placed victory in the battle royale game to even know what her agent is talking about.
Her day then moves into a workout with Ring Fit Adventure, an exercising action game that is said to provide quite the calorie burn. She is then rudely interrupted once more this time by boyfriend Elijah Allan-Blitz.
Then as the trailer comes to its conclusion, Larson can be seen relaxing while playing some Animal Crossing, reminiscing with her sister over past family memories.
During the trailer Brie Larson’s message is about “staying connected” and Nintendo Switch being her “way to play” during these times of a global pandemic.
Brie Larson is a big Animal Crossing fan and has already expressed her desire to one day star in an Animal Crossing movie adaptation.
When speaking to People magazine earlier this year, Larson explained the impact that Animal Crossing had on her life.
“The original game, the first time I played it was on Nintendo’s GameCube and it was just so important to me and my sister,” Larson told the publication.
Brie Larson has often been accused of being a “fake gamer” but considering that she’s been playing Animal Crossing since 2002, it makes her quite the gaming enthusiast.
Brie Larson follows the long-line of Hollywood celebrities that star in Nintendo adverts, with quite possibly the most popular and beloved coming from the late, great Robin Williams, who even named his daughter after Princess Zelda.
