Call of Duty: Warzone 2 released date has apparently leaked. That’s at least according to an internal document of Activision Blizzard.
An image shared by the Call of Duty Twitter fan account, CharlieINTEL, seems to reveal the release date for Warzone 2. The image in question looks to be a roadmap of sorts, detailing dates related to Call of Duty, World of Warcraft as well as Overwatch 2.
In relation to Call of Duty, it states an October 27th release date for Modern Warfare 2. For most of us, the release date is October 28th. However, this date could differ slightly depending on your region. So that could explain why the internal document says the 27th and not the 28th.
Could Call of Duty Warzone 2 be released in November?
Furthermore, the alleged internal document has a launch date of November 16th, 2022 for Call of Duty: Warzone 2. Which would be around two weeks after the Modern Warfare 2 release date.
Obviously, we must take all rumours and leaks with a pinch of salt. That being said, a November 16th release date for Warzone 2 is quite believable. Granted, the first iteration of Warzone was released in March 2020, several months after the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019).
It’s entirely possible that Warzone 2 could release so soon after Modern Warfare 2. After all, the foundations for Warzone have already been set from its original iteration.

Warzone 2 might not be a traditional sequel
Back in April this year, Activision described the upcoming Warzone 2 as a new “experience”, rather than a sequel. If that is the case, and it’s likely to be, Warzone 2 will be a tweaked version of its predecessor, rather than something built from the ground up.
