Ho ho hmmm.

Get Into The Holiday Spirit With Festive Witcher Trailer From Netflix

If you’re not in the Holiday spirit yet, and if this wonderfully edited The Witcher trailer doesn’t change your festive mood, then I don’t know what will.

Generally speaking, our Geralt of Rivia, played by Superman star Henry Cavill, perhaps isn’t the most happy of folk. However that hasn’t stopped Netflix from bringing some festive cheer to the legendary, grunting and growling Witcher.

Come one, come all, and join all of your favourites from The Witcher this season on a bloody and brilliant “slay” ride through the Continent,” says the description of the new trailer, released this week by Netflix.

The edited festive trailer more than captivates the Christmas spirit and almost has me wanting to watch the Netflix series again (though let’s be honest – this video may be against the will of Geralt, but it’s probably the only way to seemingly cheer this mighty man up).

While this trailer might not show any actual new footage of the upcoming season two, which is expected to release in 2021, it should at least put a smile on your face. Check it out above!

In related news, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to next-gen consoles, and the loading times for the game were revealed to be super-fast on Xbox Series X – and that was before the game was even optimised!

In addition to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, Cyberpunk 2077 developers CD Projekt Red also confirmed that last-gen owners of The Witcher 3 would receive a free next-gen upgrade. Nice!
