GTA 3 Definitive Edition Bug Prevents Players From Unlocking Final Trophy

What started off as a rocky release for the GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition, has just got increasingly worse with new bugs and glitches cropping up seemingly every week. The latest glitch, which specifically affects GTA 3, is stopping players from picking up the final trophy.

Upon finishing all the other trophies in the game, players should pick up the “King of Liberty City” achievement. This doesn’t seem to be the case though as Reddit user Jockelson reported on Reddit earlier this week. Jockelson uploaded the post with a screenshot of Rockstar Social Club, which shows all of the achievements.

The Reddit user found the glitch on Xbox Series X/S. However, it could be a glitch that affects multiple platforms. This is an especially annoying glitch for those who have spent the time completing the game.

Rockstar has been working to fix the game since it launched late last year. It even delayed the release of the physical edition in order to work on fixes.  Another GTA 3 glitch found shortly after release saw the return of the giant car glitch from the original game.

The game’s issues were especially frustrating for many players, as Rockstar originally removed the older editions of the games to make way for the remaster. Following criticism of the titles though, the publisher reinstated the titles on the Rockstar launcher for PC users.

Elsewhere, it looks like Sony is set to announce its Xbox Game Pass equivalent after rumours of retailers pulling PS Now subscription cards from store shelves.
